Commitment to Community
Boone Electric Cooperative is helping local schools through the sponsorship of Boone Electric Night at the Ballgame. Throughout the high school basketball season, Boone Electric hosts a halftime contest that has participants dressing like a lineman and attempting to dribble a basketball with lineman gloves on, and donates $1,000 to the home school to be used at their discretion.
In addition to the basketball games, we have Boone Electric Night at the Theater at Hickman, Rock Bridge and Battle high schools. The Fine Arts Department at each school receives a $1,000 donation. Everyone in the audience is welcome to compete in a Kahoot! trivia contest about the production for a chance to win cash prizes.
Commitment to Community is one of our core values. Boone Electric Night at the Ballgame and the Theater are great events to reach that core value.
