We have a checklist and a 10-page contract that will need to be followed to ensure approval before you can connect your renewable energy source to the grid. We need to ensure safety precautions like inverters and disconnects are in place before your PV system can go live. These safety measures keep linemen and other power operators safe from being electrocuted. This also explains the level of professionals you will need to hire to pass inspections. The city or county will need to do multiple inspections during this process before BEC can move forward.
The person whose name is listed as the member at this address will need to sign the contract. If you are not sure whose name the membership is under, we can help you.
Once we receive final approval from the permitting agency, we will return to set meters and test disconnects. Then the account will go to billing for setup.
