Goodwill Ambassadors

The Boone Electric Community Trust is the “goodwill ambassadors” for the cooperative. Eligible nonprofits, benevolent groups and public entities (schools, fire/law protection, etc.) can apply to the Trust for funding. Each year, the Trustees meet six times a year to review applications and decide funding. See the video and pictures below of some we have helped.

Besides funding requests from the above entities, the Trust also offers thirteen $2,000 scholarships to eligible area students.
