Energy Audit - a free and powerful way of addressing your home's energy needs. Find out more about requesting an energy audit, and even how to perform one yourself.
Ground Source Heat Pumps - are a way to maximize your efficiency by up to 300 percent and reduce your home heating costs by as much as 50 – 70 percent. Find out more about Boone Electric's Ground Source Heat Pump program, as well as rebates and a vendor's list.
Home Performance with Energy Star® - is a partnership program between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy. Find out more about how Boone Electric's partnership with this program can help you increase your home's energy performance.
Water Heater Program - receive a $100 rebate on the purchase of any qualified electric water heater (minimum 40-gallon capacity on a permanent foundation and Energy Factor of .90 or greater, limit 2 per member household). Contact BEC Member Services at (573) 449-4181 for details. Hybrids and tankless water heaters are not eligible for rebates.
Commercial Lighting - Rebates available up to 40 percent of the cost of the fixture or 6 cents per kWh savings, whichever is less. Facility must have more than 10 light fixtures. Annual limits apply.
Window-Unit Air Conditioners - Receive a $50 rebate for the first-time purchase or replacement of an older, inefficient unit with a high efficiency, Energy Star® -rated window-unit air conditioner.
Commercial programs for HVAC and energy audits are available.

PLEASE NOTE: Rebates are limited to services using 6000 kWh or more per year
The Take Control & Save rebate program is limited to cooperative services that use 6000 or more kilowatt-hours on an annual basis. Eligible services include lake homes, workshops, and barns, etc. Commercial/Industrial incentives/rebates may be taxable and if greater than $600, should be reported to the IRS by Cooperative as income to recipient on IRS Form 1099-MISC unless member has indentified themselves as a corporation or as tax exempt entity.
